Hawwi was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Immigrated with parents and younger brother when she was 3 years old. She grew up mostly in Sacramento before earning a BA in English from SJSU. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration from CSUN and has built a career in social services. Worked in numerous nonprofits and currently works with Integrated Care in Kaiser Permanente. In her free time, Hawwi enjoys writing, binge-watching shows and spending time with friends and family. She is thrilled to start this new journey with Kyle, looking forward to a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Kyle was born in Sacramento and grew up in Yuba City. As a child, he spent his summers performing in local theater productions and working on his family’s organic fruit farm. Following high school, Kyle earned his B.A. in Cinema from San Francisco State University. After completing a few internships in the field, Kyle set out to travel the world and found his true passion in the field of Education. He earned a teaching credential and currently works as an English teacher in Elk Grove. Apart from educating young minds, Kyle enjoys reading, watching movies and playing the drums. He is incredibly grateful to God for bringing him the love of his life in Hawwi and is looking forward to spending forever with her by his side.
